I’m a research scientist in the Hydrological Sciences Laboratory at NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center. I bring human water use, above all irrigation, into water-cycle models: I use satellite observations and machine learning to learn the decisions farmers make, and build them into NASA’s Land Information System.
